The Unseen Flower

A flower floats, unseen,
In the mists of time,
An unformed image,
Drifting, rootless,
An unborn, nameless, child,
It's petals waiting to unfold,
The answer to a question,
Yet to be asked.

Swirling in the mind of the universe,
Spinning in the dust of stars,
With lips still unkissed.
The faint aroma of it's essence,
Wafting into our dreams,
To be realized,
In the scent of night blossoms,
In the dawn of creation,
One winter morning.
