Little Houses by Russell Rosander

Little houses...

We all live in little houses
without any trousers,
where all the walls are mirrors.
Where all of our senses
and all our defenses
reflect only our desires and our fears.

You can only depart
if you open your heart
and let in the light of another.
There are no other windows
or doors you can pass through
but love and compassion and wonder.

— Russell Rosander

An artist and poet living in the Costalegre of Mexico, Russell Rosander is also a co-founder of the Bar None Group. Little Houses is from Russell's 2019 chapbook of poetry Messages from the Other Side of Light.
