Collected Works

Horseshoe Bend, one of the many twists and turns of a summer's journey.

Collected works
Of a poem from a Motel 6
In Yuma Arizona
One written in my hand
The other on an electronic piece of glass
Was there one at daybreak in Tucson?
Or was that just a picture of an untold story?
Flagstaff brought a change of clothes
And a pebble from the Canyon
It was somewhere in Montana
When the West spoke to me
Then my people spoke to me
In the language of the winds
As they carried me across the prairies
To giant lumberjacks and their pet oxen
To the humor of the Yooper
And an invisible line
That separates two people
To the start of a new generation
And the Remembrances of those that came before in the
Volumes of their
Collected works
