|No little boy or girl is too far away for this little brown sleigh.|
Breaking my hump for the UPS
Making some coin for Christmas Day
Running down streets
and running up stairs
Placing little brown parcels
in doorways, on porches
The back of my vest
reads, "Seasonal Helper"
it fastens together with Velcro
I wear my own shirt, shorts and shoes
I don't get a hat but I get a DIAD —
That's a keyboard to cross off my stops
The ladies they greet me
with smiles on their faces
Children with eyes all a-twinkle
tug at aprons and say to their mommas,
"It's Brown Santa momma!
It's Brown Santa!"
