May Day Mantra

We are workers.
We are students.
We are undocumented.
We are Occupiers.

They are detaining us.
They are shutting down our clinics.
They are closing our schools.
They are taking our wealth.
They are busting our unions.

With the arrival of spring, a renewed vigor has taken hold among the populace for social and economic change. Across the country, May Day is being regarded as chapter two of the Occupy movement following a dormant winter. Will the movement foster change in advance of the November elections or will idealism whither on the vine?
