Tarmac in Puerto Vallarta

PVR coming or going?

Cocoa butters and oils
hang heavy in the air
Tanned goddesses brush by me
But I am oblivious to their charms

There will be leg room and an aisle seat
I should always ask for the exit door
And the precious few inches
that are afforded my frame

The seat beside me will remain empty
on the long journey home
My eyes will be lost in a non-descript movie
That no one would watch otherwise

You have stayed behind in Mexico
To continue on alone
To follow your own path
To let me go for how long?

Still,
I worship at your altar.
