The Whimsy of Book Titles: Take Two

Another look at poems created from book titles.

Who forgot time?
The boy?
No,
I think it was the backyard astronomer.

He,
the astronomer
was headed to Mexico
as a guide,
of sorts.

Being lost
in space and time,
it made sense
to visit A.A.
instead.

All the while
I sat with Mac Leopard
and other talking heads
and read
selected poems of
Rainer Maria Rilke.

And then,
we became
the who
that forgot
time.

Colleen is one of the bright lights of Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. She took up the challenge after our first look at the whimsy of book titles as poetry. As with all forms of artistic expression Colleen put her own original spin on the genre.

We thank Colleen for her contribution and invite you to friend her on Facebook and friend her in person on a little stretch of paradise in Mexico. How will you arrange your books?
